Ok - here's a few details for those who have been curious. The truck is not a snow plow, the equipment on the front is for pushing vehicles. This was the result of a snow ingestion test gone bad twenty years ago at the cold weather development centre. Have a look at the Corvette instrument panel - this was a development car. The problem with snow ingestion tests is that the truck in front is set up to throw up a screen of turbulent snow, hence it is difficult to see the truck until you get to within 10 feet of it, at which point only God is in control of the car if the truck were to slow down suddenly...
