Coool too see Pirateguys over here Stan, it would be very sweet to see the T-Rex in some Norwergian Terrain. How did you do in TTC BTW ?

We did great offroad. It was the street events that hurt our score. Our best score on the street was in acceleration where we took only 7th place. But OFF ROAD we did well,

Hill Climb 4th place(no problem)
Tow test up hill 2nd place
Mud pit 2nd place
Mini Rubicon(rocks, we love the rocks!!) 1st place
Obstacle Course(T-Rex does not turn as sharp as the jeeps) 5th place
Tank Trap ....That was disappointing. we could have taken 2nd or so but our Winch failed!! We got stuck and the winch did not work so we could not finish. We were so close. The finish line was in view about 70 meters away. So we dropped to 5th place.

But it was a blast anyways!!! I would do it again anytime! We were the only truck that did not have any mechanical failures, besides the winch. The engine, axles, tranny, and transfer case worked flawlessly!! At the end of the competition we were one of the only trucks that could drive under its own power back to base camp.

It was fun. You should see the DVD's!

På Independence Day-feiring i år http://www.accn.no/Independence_Day/Indepe...endence_Day.htm snakket jeg med noen fra et flyttebyrå som spesialiserer seg på å flytting mellom US og Norge, og de hadde ekspertise på å frakte biler som flyttegods o.l, Det var ikke så dyrt. Jeg kan finne frem kortet jeg fikk av dem.

BTW, hva slags motor er det i Chargeren`?

Sansanligvis jeg hadde til a selge alle mine Chargers so at jeg kunne har nok penger til a byg min T-Rex. jeg ogso salgt min Ramcharger og den stor militar lastebil til og har penger for det T-Rex.

If it's one thing you guys "over there" are good at..., it's the cars. Man i envy your taxes and cheap parts. When i lived in the U.S i saw this 1920's pickup for sale; 3 grand!! If i had shipped it home, worked the body a little bit, painted it matt black, i would have gotten 80000:o kroners for that thing, possibly more. (times 7, do the math)

By the way nice rig Stan, read all the articles i've found in am. car magazines, love your muscle cars too, the charger looks sharp with slotmags!
If you ever come to Norway with your t-rex, check our laws first, the norwegian government/car-approval authoroties are real strict on what's allowed and not.

So, welcome to Norway dude, and keep practising that norsk, you're doin' fiiiine!!

Siden den T-Rex har stor Tyrer det gor ikke so bra po hovidvie po grun av bensin er dyrt, so jeg har en annen 6x6 som er min tow truck. Jeg caller den min TOW-REX

Bilen kan tow 40,000kilo ingen problem. Den har Cummins turbo diesel. Meget bra!!






Ja jeg tro at jeg vil ikke har anledning til a kjore min biler in Norge fordig bilene er for stor.

Er bensin(fuel) dyrt i Norge?

Her bensin er $1.89 per gallon og desiel er $2.00 per gallon. DYRT!!!

Yes, I built it, but I had help from my friend John Godwin. He builds race car roll cages, and so he built my bumpers, and exo-roll cage. The main bars on the exo cage are very strong, the tubing is 6-7mm thick and made out of a stainless steel. The truck is great offroad. Its only problem is that its turning radious is not good. I should have made it with 6-wheel steering.

My second 6x6 truck, the white one, I did build myself except for the bumper, John built that one for me and it is the same as the T-Rex bumper. Here they are together:

Yes I do , I happen to have owned one of each:
5.9cummins 12v = 17-18
5.9cummins 24v = 18-22
5.9 gas = 16
8.0 v10 = 12-13

The gas milage on the gas engines could be better at lower elevation. I live in the mountains at 7500 ft.elevation up to 13000 where you lose 25 % hp. So up here in the mountains the turbos rule!!!

I live at about 200 feet shouldn't have any issues with that, but I agree that boost is more fun than natural aspiration. I know you get kits for that v10 of yours

I just need a truck for the winter and for hauling stuff (my main car is a mini ), and since the ram 2500 has a combined weight of 8800lbs it qualifys as a cargo freighter which has 0 tax here,

seeing as propan is 1/3 of the price of gas.. a 5.9 gas would actually be cheaper than a 12v diesel here since there is tax on gas and diesel, but not on propane
