Æ har nok tatt litt feil, både Pinzgauer og Volvo har portalaksler, men bare Pinzgauer har "uavhengig", mens Volvo C303 har stive.

</b>The Pinzgauer uses solid beam half axles pivoted around the differentials with portal reduction hubs at each wheel station. Each is independently sprung allowing individual wheels to follow the ground contour unaffected by the movement of any other wheel. This design provides exceptional traction and the portal hubs add to the already impressive ground clearance. The reduction hubs are sealed for life to prevent the ingress of mud or water.
<b>Volvo C303</b>
The axles themselves have become somewhat of a legend. The portal axle has a reduction hub at end end that drops the drive, thus increasing ground clearance. The axles also have built-in air-operated diff locks that give the vehicle awesome offroad ability. Following the Volvo tradition, all parts of the C303 are engineered to a very high level and are SERIOUSLY over-built. This is real steel!</i>
