Good evening:
First, I would like to thank everyone for support on this endevor! It has been over a year in the making and the fact that so many of you are excited makes it worthwhile. It has been a real encouragement to talk with everyone over the last month or so.
Second, I wanted to update you all on the deposit collection. I have recieved 41 deposits and was notified yesterday that 42 and 43 are in the mail. That leaves us 7 short of the magic number - 50! I have considered alternatives, but if I do not recieve 50 deposits then I will be forced to abandon the project and refund all the deposits. On April 1st, it will be too late - the deposits will be on their way back to their rightful owners. I know there are at least 7 more deposits lurking, but I just can't proceed without having them in the bank! I have been over the numbers again and again, and the risk is just too great without at least 50 deposits! I have acquired the worldwide distribution rights for the locker, so if it goes through, then there will be no other source - ARB will only sell them through www.powerwagonlocker.com.
Please let me know if you intend to submit a deposit. It won't be binding, but it will allow me to better plan for the next month or so. I have some administrative tasks to complete before I submit the order (legal stuff), and I don't want to spend the money until I have a little more confidence. Don't worry if something has come up and you are not able to participate. As much as I would love this project to work out, I understand that things come up and I am fine with that.
Thank you so much for your support! Get on the phone, call your friends and dredge up some more interest. I have had a worldwide response for the lockers and I still can't wait to see the first fully locked power wagon on the trail churning mud and rocks with all 4 (or 6) tires!
Have a great day,
Dan
