Information regarding the topic Front guards
Dear Sirs,
We are pleased to inform you, that the Commission of the European Community found a
Suggestion for the regulation of the European Parliament and council about the
expenditure of Front-Guards on vehicles and the alteration of the regulation
70/156/EWG of the council.
Therefore the uncertainty regarding to this topic has gone.
The main elements of this regulation are:
In future there will be new binding technical regulations regarding construction, fitting and
testing of Front-Guards.
The current made Front-Guards can be sold until the 31.12.2005 and after this date there is
no need to take them off.
During the last year we started with the development of a shock -absorbing Front-Guards
regarding to this new regulation. As we now know the final technical values we will continue
intensive with the development of new shock -absorbing Front-Guards to offer you these new
products in time.
